Community CPR, basic first aid, and AED

This course teaches students how to perform CPR with a barrier device on an adult, child, and infant, and how to operate an AED (automatic external defibrillator) on an adult and child. Students will be trained in basic first aid skills for medical, environmental, and injury emergencies. This class meets requirements for teachers (clear credential), foster care, social workers, and healthcare employees. This course is also appropriate for parents, coaches, baby sitters, or the general public. Students receive a CPR textbook and a two year certification approved by OSHA. (Minimum requirement of 6 students.)

California Childcare CPR, pediatric first aid, and AED

This course is designed for California Childcare Providers and parents that require certification in pediatric first aid. This course emphasizes prevention and preparation for medical emergencies for the adult, child and infant, CPR for all age groups, how to operate an AED, and pediatric first aid skills. This course includes mandatory asthma training for licensed childcare providers.  Course fee includes a student textbook and a two year certification approved by California EMS Authority and OSHA. (6 student minimum requirement.)

This course is perfect for educators, parents, coaches, baby sitters or anyone who currently holds certification in CPR and First Aid. This course emphasizes prevention and preparation for medical emergencies for the adult, child and infant and basic first aid skills. Students must present current certification card to instructor at the time of class. Course fee includes a student textbook and a two year certification approved by OSHA. This course is not designed for childcare providers that require an 8 hour training every 2 year. (6 student minimum requirement.)
